Thursday – BBL

Ride departs 6pm sharp every spring and summer Thursday night (weather-permitting), from Baltimore Bicycle Works, 1813 Falls Road.

The Bumpy Belt Loop is a 26 mile hilly loop designed to attack the steepest climbs in the city in quick succession.

This is a full drop team training ride open to all-comers. The route loops back on itself at several points, providing multiple opportunities for riders to skip climbs and take shortcuts if they find themselves dropping off the back.

The pace between climbs is a neutral 16mph. Attacks on climbs are welcomed and encouraged. Ride pace may crescendo as a paceline forms on Thornton and Falls. Grab a wheel!

The ride officially ends at the top of Bellemore. Retrace the route back to the shop if you’re ready to quit, or repeat Bellemore with the leaders until everyone is gathered for a group selfie.

Refer to this map for the current route (subject to changes).

Check the Baltimore Bicycling Club calendar for up-to-date scheduling.
